This was definitely the message of the Executive Mayor, Kagiso Khauoe during his school visit last week.
Khauoe was deployed at Dirang Ka Natla and Vaal Reefs Technical High last week.
Addressing the learners at Dirang Ka Natla, Khauoe said he’s positive that this year’s
Grade 12 class have what it takes to change the all time low pass rate of 52 percent registered by the Class of 2012.
In 2011, the school recorded an impressive 91 percent pass rate.

Departmental Activities and updates-Our Museum
From time to time, members from the public offer interesting objects of a cultural heritage nature for donation to the Museum.
During November the Museum started preparing a large donation of photos (donated by Mrs. Kropman on behalf of the Klerksdorp Jewish community) for permanent inclusion in the Museum Collection. Furthermore, a donation of photographic film development equipment was accepted from Mr. Esterhuizen and will be accessioned shortly.

Matlosana leads in provision of free basic energy supply
The City of Matlosana leads most municipalities in the country as far as the provision of free basic alternative energy is concerned.
This became evident when representatives from other municipalities descended to the city shores on Tuesday to observe how the programme is being rolled out.

Crime survivors urged to move on with their lives
The survivors of crime should let go of the past and move on with their lives. This was the message of the message of the Executive Mayor of the city, Kagiso Khauoe, during the launch of the Victim’s Rights week held in Khuma on Monday.
The launch, aimed at recognizing victim’s rights, is a result of partnership by the South African Police Service, Department of Correctional Services, Health, Social Development, Constitutional Development, Justice and the National Prosecuting Authority.
Plant more trees, MMC urges
There’s a need for people to plant more trees.
This was the core message delivered by the City of Matlosana’s MMC for Community Services, Nonzaliseko Mendela during the celebration of the Arbor Week held in Tigane last week Friday.
Mendela, accompanied by the city’s Executive Mayor, Kagiso Khauoe,
said it was vital for people to plant indigenous trees especially in the main entrances of the township as well as accident zones.
